Do you have a Mac but feel like you are only using a small part of what it can do? This hands-on class will help you feel more confident, organized, and in control of your computer, whether you are brand new to Mac or have been using one for years. Learn the Mac skills people use most: finding files, organizing documents, adjusting settings, using shortcuts, and discovering built-in tools that can save time. We will also explore the macOS operating system, Finder, file and document organization, and practical features you can use right away at home, at work, or for personal projects. You will also learn how to use your trackpad more effectively, including gestures and shortcuts that can make your Mac feel easier and more enjoyable to use. This class is ideal for Mac desktop and laptop users who want to better understand their device, stay organized, and get more out of their technology. No prior experience is needed, and the small class size allows for personalized attention and plenty of time for questions. Students with a Mac laptop are encouraged to bring it to class along with the power cord so they can follow along hands-on.
