This two-hour, video-based course provides cosmetology professionals with essential knowledge and techniques for performing professional natural and artificial nail services. Participants will review safety and sanitation standards, blood spill procedures, nail diseases and disorders, and application methods for manicures, pedicures, tips, overlays, and sculpted nails. In addition to technical skill development, the course emphasizes professional presentation, positive attitude, and maintaining appropriate client boundaries to support a safe, respectful, and successful salon environment. Objectives: 1.Perform natural and artificial nail services using proper safety, sanitation, and infection control procedures, including blood spill protocol. 2.Identify common and uncommon nail diseases and disorders and apply appropriate service modifications or referrals when necessary. 3.Demonstrate professional presentation, positive attitude, and appropriate client boundaries to enhance service quality and workplace professionalism.
