Skip the dinner-and-a-movie routine and try something a little more hands-on! Grab your partner and get ready to make some sparks in this fun, beginner-friendly welding class designed for couples. Whether you’ve never picked up a welder or have some experience under your belt, you’ll work alongside an industry professional to learn the basics of cutting and welding steel using a wire welder and cutting torch. Then, team up to create a unique lawn ornament, piece of metal art, or your own one-of-a-kind creation. No prior welding experience is required. Safety procedures and proper equipment use will be covered, and projects will vary based on available materials. Students are also welcome to bring their own items or ideas to turn into a personalized welded creation. Materials fee $10 per welder due to the instructor at the beginning of class.
