Combine your love of books with sewing. Learn or refresh basic sewing skills as you work at your own pace to create fun projects for readers, such as fabric bookmarks, tote bag, journal cover, and pencil case. Perfect for anyone who loves books and wants to spend some time creating. Sewing machines are provided for students. All other materials must be supplied and brought to the first class by the student.

Notice

Please read:  Sewing machines provided. The following materials will be purchased by the student for each project: Quilted notebook cover: composition notebook, 1/3 yard fabric for outside, 1/3 fabric for lining, 1 yard lightweight fusible batting, thread Pencil case: 1/4 yard fabric for outside, 1/4 yard fabric for lining, 9" zipper, thread Tote bag: 1/2 yard for outside, 1/2 yard for inside, thread.
