A three-hour class covering the National Electrical Code requirements for swimming pools, fountains, hot tubs, spas and hydromassage bathtubs, including: bonding and grounding; permitted wiring methods; clearances for overhead and ground underground wiring; rules for equipment disconnects and motors; distances for receptacles, luminaires, ceiling fans, and switches; rules for underwater lighting; the equipotential bonding grid; and specialized pool equipment. This course has been approved by the Iowa Electrical Examining Board for three hours of code.
