Christmas will be a little brighter this year when you display this amazing holiday stocking. You will learn the stranded knitting technique (think Fair Isle!) to add colors to your knitting. Worsted or Aran weight yarns will make your stocking a great size to show off - even on your front door! Materials fee $7.

Please read:  Materials fee of $7 payable to instructor at first class. Skills: you must be able to knit, purl, decrease, follow a chart, and knit in the round. Visit Kirkwood's Pinterest page for project pictures Yarn required: 1 skein (210 yds.) of worsted weight wool or wool blend for Main color yarn. 65 yds each of 2 contrasting colors. Colors suggested: Cranberry, Spruce Heather, and Light Sheep Grey. Needles required: 16” circular needles sizes 6 & 8 PLUS double-pointed needles size 8. Or whatever you prefer for colorwork and working in the round.
