Tap is one of the oldest forms of dance and is characterized by using the sounds of one’s tap shoes hitting the floor as a percussive instrument. This class focuses on rhythms and musicality. Common tap steps include the shuttle, shuttle ball change, flap, flap heel, cramp- roll, buffalo, pull backs, wings, and paradiddle. Brush off your dusty tap shoes, or join us for your first tap class. No dance experience is necessary. Tap shoes are required!
