The National Electrical Code for Solar PV Installers

This 4-hour course covers Article 690 of the NEC in detail including definitions of various PV systems, circuits, and components; requirements for circuit identification, routing, and ground-fault protection; voltage and current calculations; conductor sizing and overcurrent protection; disconnects and labeling; wiring methods; connections and interconnections; grounding; identification and connection to other power sources; and energy storage systems.  Also covered are requirements from the International Fire Code (IFC).  This course has been approved by the Iowa Electrical Board for four hours of code.
