ID : 104689
« back to classes page
This course takes an in-depth look at the three “superpowers” of genealogy research and databases: Ancestry.com, FamilySearch.org, and RootsMagic-a personal database. These three programs are able to exchange information and you will learn how the programs can be used together. This course will also provide a basic overview of Tree Share between Ancestry and RootsMagic, as well as a review on how to move information from RootsMagic to FamilySearch. Participation in the “Family History: Introduction to Genealogy” course is strongly recommended before taking this hands-on, computer-based course. Basic computer knowledge is required.
