Photography is an excellent way to document an ancestor’s resting place as part of their life’s story. However, factors such as gravestone condition, time of day, and cloud cover are just a few things that can reduce the quality and clarity of your photos. This class will provide you with tips on how to take quality photographs of gravestones-even under less than ideal conditions. Individuals doing genealogical research and those photographing headstones for “Find a Grave” and other online cemetery websites will find this class very helpful.  A “hands-on” session will be held at a local cemetery to practice the information covered in class.
