This course is a study of the supply and the distribution of plumbing water systems. Chapter 6 of the Uniform Plumbing Code requires the delivery of safe and clean potable water. This is accomplished by establishing minimum installation standards, from the building service to the most remote outlet. An adequate supply of water is required to meet all the demands that may be placed on the system. This class has been approved by the Iowa Plumbing and Mechanical Systems Board for two hours of plumbing code.
