Communication is often talked about as an important leadership skill, but what does effective communication look like? In today’s workplace, leaders are often called upon to engage their employees in transitions of focus, processes, and direction. Communication and your ability to influence and inspire action is perhaps the most important building block in the process of leading others. You will learn techniques to communicate in order to inspire the team to deliver results. You will explore listener focused communication while concentrating on what the listener needs to hear to spark behavior change. You will also explore the adjustments required to communicate with team members in the same location as well as those across the globe.
