Math for Wastewater Operators (SS)

This course will cover problem solving for math problems used in wastewater treatment plants and will also help with studying for the certification exam. Math for Wastewatre systems covers: conversions, linear, area and volume computations, water usage and wastewater flow, concentration and dosage, density and specific gravity, velocity, and flow chemical dosage and feed rate, grit removal, activated sludge, aerobic digesters, rotating biological contractors (RBC's), trickling filters, disinfection, sludge math and lagoon's. This class will be completed via paper pencil and the final exam only will be need to be administered by a supervisor or co-worker.
