This course is for Water Treatment Grade 2 operators that will be sitting for their Grade 3 exam. Participants will review the following topics: similarities and differences in ground and surface raw water and the sanitary hazards involved in the pre-treatment and treatment process of raw water; compute dosage, demand and residual, volumes, chemical dosage calculations, solutions, filtrations, hydraulics, pumping, velocity, jar testing, C*t calculations, solution and solution percentages and mathematical application of water formulas and conversions; review water chemistry, advanced pretreatment and chemical post-treatment process and controls; pumps, pumping and motors. This course will assist you in preparing for your certification exam and will cover the latest ABC Need-to-Know Criteria.
