Forklift Train the Trainer Course

The Forklift Train the Trainer course was developed for the experienced forklift operator who has a desire or need to train others in forklift operations. Curriculum was developed using OSHA 1910.178. This four hour course will instruct prospective trainers on best teaching practices and classroom management. The instructor will provide a combination of teaching techniques, including PowerPoint lecture, in-house-developed video presentation, group discussion on specific safety issues and hands-on evaluations. Trainers will receive a Trainer’s Manual providing guidance on conducting training, videos for visualizing training, PowerPoint presentations highlighting key areas of the course, skills evaluation performance worksheets for evaluating students and written tests for measuring learning. Participants must be 18 years old to take this course. Prerequisite: Student must have prior Forklift Operator Training and bring their current operators license to class.
