Mobile Elevated Work Platform Train the Trainer Course

The MEWP Train the Trainer course was developed for the experienced Mobile Elevated Work Platform Operators or Supervisors who have a desire or need to train others in MEWP operations. Curriculum was developed using ANSI/SAIA A92.22-2018 and ANSI/SAIA A92.24-2018. This four-hour course will instruct prospective trainers on best teaching practices and classroom management. The instructor will provide a combination of teaching techniques, including PowerPoint lecture, video presentation, group discussion on specific safety issues and hands-on evaluations. Trainers will receive a Trainer’s Manual providing guidance on conducting training, a video for visual training, PowerPoint presentation, skills evaluation performance worksheet for evaluating the operator and written test for measuring learning. Fall Prevention training will also be included. Desired Prerequisite: Student must have had MEWP training, this can be from your company or by attending the Mobile Elevated Work Platform class offered by Kirkwood Community College.
