Kringle is a Danish breakfast pastry that has been made world famous by bakeries in Racine, Wisconsin. One particular bakery was responsible for the beginnings of kringle, and it was Juli Hardin's family bakery called Ostergaards, started by her grandmother and uncles. This breakfast delight is a giant ring of flaky pastry filled with a variety of either nuts, fruits, or even chocolate. Many Ostergaard family celebrations started with pecan or apricot kringle in the morning, and now, Chef Juli is bringing her family's secret recipe to you! Learn to make kringle and begin your own family traditions. Please bring a container to take home your creation.
