How does culture shape the experience of end-of-life care? Intended for healthcare providers, this course explores the intersection of cultural values, beliefs, and traditions with compassionate, person-centered approaches to care in clients facing end of life. You will discuss how to approach clients and families with a variety of backgrounds as you discover a framework for learning about a person and what is most important to them to help guide your care and support. In the second session, you will explore various real-life situations with interactive discussions, and reflective practice. By the end, you'll be able to navigate diverse cultural perspectives, foster empathy, and honor the unique needs of individuals and families during life's final chapter.
