Infection control procedures are in place to prevent the spread of disease and to protect both the dental healthcare provider and their dental patients. This program provides participants with updated information on currently recommended infection control practices for the dental office. Information will include a discussion of occupational environmental hazards and exposures, disease prevention, personal safety and barrier protection, instrument processing and recirculation, and regulatory government agencies. Meets Iowa Dental Board continuing education requirements for Infection Control content.
