KICK Camp: African Art and Culture

Immerse yourself in the art and culture of Africa! Explore the continent by drawing and painting many amazing animals. Learn about contemporary Nigerian-American Muralist Odita, as well as costume designer Ruth E. Carter who worked on the movie Black Panther. Dabble in costume design by making a mask, bracelets, a miniature clothing design, tie-dye, and a small sewing project. We will celebrate at the end of the class with a fashion show of our art work and creations! Ages 8-13.
