Kirkwood for Kids Discovery: Outdoor Survival Skills

Join the Jones County Naturalist as you learn how to read a map, use a compass, create a shelter, start a fire, identify poisonous and edible plants, and find and purify water. Participants should dress to be outside and bring a refillable water bottle and small backpack. Pants and closed-toed shoes are highly recommended.
