Part 1: Educational Objectives:
  1. Identify the fundamentals of selecting the correct shade, blending colors, and applying techniques.
  2. Describe best practices for caring for and maintaining colored extensions.
  3. Determine the intricacies of working with various hair textures and extension types.
Part 2: Educational Objectives:
  1. Identify effective hashtag strategies, how to leverage stories and reels, and build an online portfolio.
  2. Describe the process of creating social media content to showcase the stylists work including hair coloring and extension work, before and after transformations, and styling tutorials.
  3. Identify how to build cohesive visual aesthetic, optimize posts for engagement, and utilize various social media platforms to connect with clients.

Please read:  To obtain 4.4 CEHs (Cosmetologists and Barbers) associated with this workshop, the professional will need to check-in at the start of the workshop, attend the session in its entirety, check-out at the completion of the workshop, and complete the program evaluation form. Partial credit will not be awarded. The cosmetology/barbering professional successfully meeting these requirements will receive a Certificate of Completion indicating the CEH's awarded for their profession. All cosmetology/barbering professionals are reminded that they are responsible for reviewing the governing rules of their boards to determine if appropriate subject matter criteria will apply. Participants should be prepared to provide license information when registering. Please note: Late arrivals will be allowed to attend the workshop, but they will NOT be eligible to earn continuing education credit. Class begins promptly at the advertised start time. Students arriving late will not be refunded the tuition cost for the workshop. Students are welcome to bring lunch/snacks to class with them, a 20 minute break will be provided during the course.
