Enhance your therapeutic skills with Cupping for Sports Therapy, a hands-on continuing education class designed for healthcare professionals, including massage therapists, physical therapists, athletic trainers, and chiropractors. This course focuses on using cupping techniques to improve athletic performance, accelerate recovery, and reduce pain. You will learn how to integrate dynamic and static cupping methods to address muscle tension, fascial restrictions, and common sports-related injuries. Special emphasis will be placed on pre-event and post-event cupping, helping athletes prepare for optimal performance and recover efficiently. This interactive class provides real-world applications, hands-on practice, and immediate takeaways to help you optimize performance and healing for athletes of all levels.

Educational Objectives:
1. Explain the physiological effects of cupping on muscle tissue, fascia, and circulation while differentiating between static, dynamic, and movement-based cupping techniques.
2. Implement cupping methods to enhance circulation, flexibility, and neuromuscular activation for recovery, reducing inflammation, and minimizing delayed onset muscle soreness (DOMS).
3. Identify common sports-related injuries that benefit from cupping therapy and develop customized post-event cupping strategies based on the needs and demands of the patient.
4. Identify contraindications and precautions for cupping in sports therapy.
5. Apply proper sanitation, safety, and ethical considerations when working with athletes.
