Iowa Dental Jurisprudence Update

This presentation will provide the dental professional with the latest information and review of the administrative code and rules of law of dentistry practice in Iowa. A review of various chapters of the Iowa administrative code will be presented, and class discussion will be utilized to assist with understanding. This course is one hour in the area of Iowa jurisprudence. 

Objectives: 1) Identify key rules and requirements of Iowa dentistry practice and licensure; 2) Identify continuing education requirements; 3) Compare various scopes of practice; 4) Identify general standards of practice and principles of ethics.
