Not all mats are created equal. This workshop dives into the science and strategy behind dematting across coat types, breed structures, and mat severity. From recognizing the anatomy of mats to choosing the safest and most effective tools and techniques, students will work hands-on with real dogs to practice humane dematting methods. Learn when to save the coat, when to start fresh, and how to communicate confidently with pet parents about mat-related grooming decisions.
