Are you curious about bees and interested in starting your own hive? Kirkwood's Beekeeping for Beginners is a buzzworthy, hands-on, informative class series designed for aspiring and hobbyist beekeepers who want to explore the fascinating world of bees, honey, and sustainable backyard beekeeping. Over the course of 4 sessions, you'll learn the fundamentals of beekeeping, from hive setup and bee biology to seasonal management, honey harvesting, and maintaining healthy colonies, taught by local professional beekeepers. Whether you're starting from scratch or simply looking to deepen your knowledge, this course will equip you with the skills and confidence to start your own apiary. $12 materials fee due to the instructor at the beginning of class.
