Spring Break Mini Camp: Animal Care Academy

Join us for a hands-on, heartwarming 3-day Spring Break Camp focused on the care and compassion of domesticated animals! Perfect for animal lovers in grades 6-9, this camp is led by experienced staff from Washington's own PAWS and More and offers a fun, interactive introduction to the world of animal care. Campers will learn the basics of responsible pet ownership, animal behavior, and shelter operations through games, activities, and real-life demonstrations. From feeding and grooming to understanding animal needs and body language, students will gain valuable knowledge about how to care for a variety of common pets, including dogs, cats, rabbits, and more. The camp concludes with an exciting field trip to the PAWS and More animal shelter, where students will get a behind-the-scenes tour, meet shelter animals, and see firsthand how their new knowledge applies in a real-world setting.
