This course renews current CPR instructor certification (both BLS and Heartsaver) and reviews the latest CPR skills for infant, child, and adult (including two-rescuer methods). You will also review management of foreign body airway obstruction and the use of barrier devices. Participants will be required to take a written examination prior to recognition. Two-year recommended renewal.

Must have a current BLS or Heartsaver Instructor Course completion card. The American Heart Association strongly promotes knowledge and proficiency in BLS, ACLS, and PALS and has developed instructional materials for this purpose. Use of these materials in an educational course does not represent course sponsorship by the American Heart Association. Any fees charged for such a course, except for a portion of the fees needed for AHA course materials, do not represent income to the Association.
