« back to classes page
From the earliest European settlements, questions of faith and freedom have shaped American history. Over the centuries, the idea of "religious liberty" has taken on different meanings, shaped by constitutional debates, court decisions, and social changes. This session traces the development of religious freedom in the United States back from the colonial period to the present.
