Learn the relaxing art of crochet in this beginner-friendly class designed to build your confidence from the start. You'll master essential skills like understanding hooks and yarn, reading labels and gauge, and practicing foundational stitches while creating a stylish twisted headband. We'll also explore double and treble crochet stitches, with time permitting to begin a second project such as a dishcloth or washcloth. Students will provide their own materials for this class.

Please read:  Materials needed: 1.) 1 skein (any brand) of light colored yarn (3.5 oz), 100% acrylic, **Worsted** weight, or Medium 42.) Crochet hook **H** (5.0 mm) If you are not able to find this sold individually, you can purchase it in aset of 3 hooks, ie: H, I, J3.) Scissors4.) Flexible measuring tape5.) Yarn needle (aka tapestry needle) plastic or metal. The metal needle glides through the yarn muchsmoother than the plastic one.6.) Stitch markers (optional)
