This class reviews wastewater concepts which includes the following: pretreatment of wastewater, primary treatment in a clarifier, secondary biological treatment in lagoons, trickling filters, and activated sludge. The class also reviews wastewater math, sludge digestion, solids handling, pumping and maintenance, effluent chlorination and disinfection questions. This course is recommended for those preparing to take their Grade 2 operator exam.
