This course is designed for Grade 2 wastewater operators preparing to take the Grade 3 certification exam. Participants will review the key responsibilities of a Grade 3 operator, including wastewater pretreatment, primary treatment in clarifiers, and secondary biological treatment processes such as lagoons, trickling filters, and activated sludge systems. The course also covers essential topics like wastewater mathematics, sludge digestion, solids handling, pumping and maintenance, and effluent disinfection and chlorination. Aligned with the latest ABC Need-to-Know criteria, this course provides a comprehensive review to help participants successfully prepare for their certification exam.
