Operators will learn how different types of lagoons treat wastewater, how to maintain their systems, what the regulatory requirements are, along with how to conform to their permit by proper sampling and testing. Operators will recognize the problems that arise with lagoons and what solutions are available to them to solve problems such as odors, high laboratory test results and cold weather operations.
