This course is intended for individuals currently working with anaerobic and aerobic digesters. It provides an overview of the digestion process as well as the equipment used within these systems. Topics include the two stages of digestion, where and how they occur, and key equipment such as digesters, heat exchangers, gas lines, and sludge lines. Participants will learn to identify the components of this equipment and understand the role each plays in the overall digestion process.
