Discover the exciting blend of welding and artistic creativity in this hands-on course designed for aspiring artists and metalworking enthusiasts. Students will create unique tabletop metal sculptures while learning the fundamentals of welding in a fun and supportive environment. Guided by an experienced instructor, participants will choose a small project and gain practical experience with basic welding techniques and essential metalworking skills. No prior welding experience is needed. Safety procedures and best practices will be emphasized throughout the course so students can work confidently and safely. By the end of class, participants will leave with both a completed custom sculpture and the foundational skills to continue exploring metal art on their own.

Notice

Please read:  Students should bring any metal items they would like to incorporate into their work, old tools, steel bike frames, pipes, rods, any metal parts, etc. Wear long pants and leather shoes. Welding helmets will be provided; however, students are welcome to bring their own if they prefer.
