Let's Knit a Stranded Holiday Stocking

Christmas will be a little brighter this year when you display this amazing holiday stocking, Bukkesprang, by designers Arne & Carlos. You will learn the stranded knitting technique (think Fair Isle) to add colors to your knitting. Worsted weight yarn will make your stocking a great size to show off - even on your front door! To best enjoy this workshop, you must be able to knit and purl and are current in your skills. We will tackle increasing, decreasing, reading a chart, knitting an afterthought heel and knitting in the round. This project is great for eager beginners who are currently knitting and extraordinarily fun for knitters of all skill levels who are currently knitting too! Pattern fee $7.
