This educational presentation provides the dental professional with information on innovations in implant dentistry. The speaker will discuss the roles in implant dentistry. Participants will learn about implant design rationale, the “how and when” to use restorative options, and how digital integrates with implant dentistry. Our target audience is dental assistants, dental hygienists, and dentists. Approved dental continuing education hours will be awarded. Objectives: 1) Discuss the roles in implant dentistry, 2) Describe implant design rationale, 4) Define how and when to use restorative options, and 5) Describe how digital integrates with implant dentistry. CEHs: 2.0 Dental Assistants, Dental Hygienists, Dentists Kirkwood Community College is an Iowa Dental Board Approved Sponsor.
