This certification provides individuals with essential skills, knowledge, tools, and techniques for a career in a manufacturing environment. Learners will learn how to utilize basic manufacturing math, measuring tools, computer systems, and health and safety procedures. The certificate requires that all students complete Navigate Your Journey to build a foundation for seeking skill-based employment as a pre-requisite. The certificate then is comprised of courses such as Applied Math for Manufacturing, Computer Basics for Manufacturing, Torque, Tensioning & Measuring Tools, First Aid and CPR, 10 Hour OSHA (card included), Powered Industrial Forklift Operations, and Leadership and Integrity which build valuable technical, safety and workplace soft skills. Classes included; Applied Math for Manufacturing, Computer Basics for Manufacturing, Torque, Tensioning and Measuring Tools, 10 Hour OSHA General Industry Outreach Training, Power Industrial Forklift Operations, Adult First Aid with CPR, Pre-employment, Employed Communication Skills.
