Participants will gain insight on the history of health insurance and how it has changed and evolved over time. Extended instruction and practice will be an area of focus when it comes to the claims process, covering both the universal paper claim form, the CLS-1500, and we talk extensively on the electronic claims process that is critical skill for the health insurance professional.  Supporting participants to gain a better understanding of the HIPPA law will also be an area of focus as it applies to all content within the course.
