Take a break from the AC and come to Kirkwood and try working with molten glass. The course offers a fast paced introduction to solid and blown glass processes and techniques. This opportunity will be something you can add to your list of creative experiences. By the end of the course you will take home a few finished pieces that highlight your creativity and success while working with this exciting material. Materials fee $35.

Notice

Please read:  class dates have changed to July 22 thru July 25. This class is for high school students ages 14-18. Students should wear natural fiber clothing, closed toe shoes and long pants (jeans work well). Please do not wear poly, fleece, or any other type of synthetic fabrics, no warm up pants or gym wear and no sandals. Those with long hair will need to tie it up or wear a bandanna/hat. Clear goggles will be provided for eye protection, or you may bring your own sunglasses/shades. Bring water to stay hydrated or there will also be a water fountain to use. $35 materials fee payable to instructor at class on the first day. Student work will be available for pickup on Friday, July 26th.
