Not every day is easy. Enough tough days in a row lead to emotional fatigue for you and possibly your organization. We don’t all have the same resiliency levels, but we can build skills around grit and resiliency that help us battle emotional fatigue and burnout and help those around us overcome it as well. As obstacles arise, there is a balance to be found between conquering them and ensuring that you and those you serve are okay during the process. In this session, we will focus on how to build resiliency when you face burn out, what causes emotional fatigue and burnout in various settings, and how to respond to those you lead when you feel like you are running on empty. We will also look at what to do when you see these signs in those who work with or for you, and how gratitude can mitigate burnout for you and those you lead. You will learn to understand what grit and resiliency mean in relation to emotional fatigue in the workplace, recognize your signs of emotional fatigue or burn out and the techniques to overcome them, how men and women experience these uniquely and the common ground between them, build skills to recognize and support team members when they are exhibiting signs of emotional fatigue or burnout, and apply a gratitude mindset to rewards and recognition and understand how this impacts both you and those you lead.
