Dogs! We love them, and they love us. Let’s give them the best lives that they deserve. This conference covers our furry companions, from paws to nose to wagging tails. Four dynamic experts in their fields will talk about the ABCs of Dogs! Action – Dr. Christine Woodford, DVM, will discuss how to optimize the overall health of your dog. Learn how to reduce joint inflammation, enhance the immune system, and get proper motion (action) out of your dog’s spine and limbs. Balance – Dr. Barb Fox, DVM, author of “Animals Never Lie,” will be diving into balance! Learn how you can maneuver between holistic and traditional veterinary care. She will also talk about feeding our dogs in a way that keeps their body healthy and in balance. Choice – Lorette Vanourny, CPDT-KA, will be speaking on the hot topic of choices. Can we not only teach our dogs, but also allow flexibility for them to make their own choices — and still have well-mannered dogs? The answer is “YES!” Come listen and learn how this can happen. Dogs – Sherry Ross, MBA, will cover dogs in the home and how to have happy, bonded dogs that are part of the family — more than just being super cute! Your pet might enjoy having tasks to do around your home. She will touch on the subject of emotional support animals, therapy dogs, and service dogs. Although this event is focused on man’s best friend, this conference is tailored to human attendees only; please do not bring dogs to the conference. Service dogs are welcome. CEUs have been approved by the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers and are available for this conference. CPDT-KA 6.5 CEUs; CPDT-KSA 6.5 Knowledge CEUs; CBCC-KA 1.5 CEUs.
