The Beginner Baker: Mixing Yeasted Doughs

In this class we will talk about yeast, what it is and how it works, as well as mix up some simple yeasted dough for you to practice shaping at home.  You will learn how to tell when the dough is over or under risen, how to control the temperature to speed up or slow down your mix, and how to change the things you do or do not like about your bread.
