Learn practical knowledge about QuickBooks from an accounting perspective. Manage QuickBooks files, create and edit customers, receive payments, adjust customer transactions and run customer-related reports. Learn to work within the vendor center to enter and pay bills, print checks, edit vendor transactions, and produce profit and loss reports. Perform banking tasks such as making deposits, managing credit and debit transactions, processing bounced checks, reconciling accounts, fixing errors, generating reports and importing banking transactions. Create a company file while editing preferences, customizing features, adding vendors and items, setting up users, and working with standard and customized reports. Work with financial statements, including the balance sheet and income statement. The 2019 version of QuickBooks will be used in class. Tuition includes a textbook.
