Building on the foundation of Project Management Basics, you will work with traditional project management tools as well as emerging project management technologies. Learn how to develop a project plan, define and sequence tasks, identify critical paths, allocate resources, estimate risks, and maintain a budget. Popular project management software such as MS Project and MS Excel will be used. Competency-based learning transitions away from required seat time in favor of a self-paced structure that allows for flexibility as you progress toward demonstrating proficiency on targeted skills and academic content. Through self-pacing, competency-based learning helps you potentially save both time and money. Competency-based learning leads to better engagement because the content is relevant, applicable, and tailored to your unique learning needs. You must have the equivalent of 3 years of full-time work experience and be 21 years old. Prerequisite: Project Management Basics.
