« back to classes page
Learn to plan and design user-centered websites. This course focuses on site planning, including defining purpose and audience, developing personas, cultivating a content-first strategy, creating a competitive analysis and website brief, outlining sitemaps and navigation for mobile first responsive needs, designing prototypes using basic design principles, and user testing. Students will also learn about the young and diverse field of user experience (UX) and the related, and equally important, the field of web accessibility. Come to class with an idea for a website to design (or redesign), and leave class with a detailed plan for your site that is based on current best practices. Tuition includes textbooks.
