« back to classes page
This is a competency-based education program. Introduce yourself to the management functions of planning, organizing, leading, and controlling. Focus on technical supervision skills and human relations skills needed to develop a productive work team, and conceptual skills to group interdependent organizational processes. Competency-based learning transitions away from required seat time in favor of a self-paced structure that allows for flexibility as you progress toward demonstrating proficiency on targeted skills and academic content. Through self-pacing, competency-based learning helps you potentially save both time and money. Competency-based learning leads to better engagement because the content is relevant, applicable, and tailored to your unique learning needs. You must have the equivalent of three years of full-time work experience and be 21 years old.
