Kirkwood CE offers Heartsaver CPR/AED (CHCP-1800), BLS Provider (CHCP-1000) or Adult First Aid (CHCP-1200) to meet this requirement. Any official CPR training through the following reputable organizations will also be accepted: American Heart Association, American Red Cross, American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI), National Safety Council (NSC), or Medic First Aid.
After successful completion of the seminar, Kirkwood will email you your transcript to upload with your online application with the Iowa Board of Educational Examiners. It will take 4-6 weeks after successful completion of the seminar and all online application components to receive authorization from the Iowa Board of Educational Examiners.
