Medication Manager for Community Based Service Providers (online)

This course prepares medication managers to safely administer non-parenteral medication in a residential adult facility, a child care facility, assisted living facility or community supervised apartment for the cognitively disabled (15 or fewer beds). This course will be completed online for theory and 100% of the course must be completed. You will have 6 weeks to complete the online theory section and this time begins upon registration.  Lab/clinical for 3 hours is a requirement for this course and can be completed by a RN in your employing facility. You will have 6 weeks to complete the online theory content and this begins upon registration. Following the theory portion of this class, participants will be required to complete their lab and final exam within 60 days. The final exam will be completed at Kirkwood Community College. Students will need to register for the exam online or by calling 319-398-1022.
