Course number : CLAR-1115   ID : 140928
« back to classes page
Combining techniques in a knitting project is a lot of fun! You will learn how to make thrums and how to add them to your knitting. The infamous Yarn Harlot blog describes a thrum as "a little wisp of unspun fleece or roving that is knit into your project every so often." You also have the option to decorate your cuff with a stranded knitting design. This class is designed for intermediate to advanced knitters experienced with some stranded knitting and knitting in the round. Must also be flexible when needing to make adjustments for fit if necessary. Please allow time to knit outside of class. Materials fee $5 for the pattern.
